Joost Screever
Tax attorney
About me
Joost is an experienced tax advisor at BVDV in Utrecht, specialised in personal income tax, corporate income tax, and real estate transfer tax. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (Nederlandse Orde voor Belastingadviseurs, NOB). His focus is on SMEs, with particular attention to majority shareholders/directors (DGA’s) and (re)structuring matters.
With an open and critical mindset, I enjoy thinking alongside my clients. As a tax advisor, it’s important to think analytically, without losing sight of practical execution and implementation. Tax issues can be complex enough as it is, so I make sure my advice remains manageable and workable. In addition, I hold final responsibility for BVDV’s tax compliance department (tax returns, the ‘Opgaaf Werkelijk Rendement’ (OWR), and objections).
Besides my work as a tax advisor, I play amateur football for V.V. De Meern and enjoy (almost) all ball sports. I also volunteer with Stichting Serve the City Utrecht.
